The awareness of the deterioration of natural surfacewater bodies and aquatic ecological degradation worldwide has grown over thepast decades. The need for integrated watershed management and ecosystemmanagement has therefore been widely recognized.
The Peking University WatershedScience Lab (PKUWSL) is aimed to provide watershed-scale modeling frameworkfor better understanding watershed-aquatic processes and for effective decisionmaking. WSL is directed by Professor Huaicheng Guoand Dr. Yong Liu.
